What should my child bring to camp?A coast guard approved life jacket, towel, water bottle, and a good attitude!

The class I want is full - will you open up more spots?If the class you want is full, please sign up for the waitlist. If a cancellation occurs or we add a spot, you will be notified and have the opportunity to purchase that spot.

What happens if a class is canceled?If a class is canceled due to severe weather, the class will be made up on Friday of that week at the same time.

Can a class be made up if I miss a day?Unfortunately, we aren't able to make up individual sessions that aren't weather related.

How do I schedule a private or adult lesson?Private lessons are dependent upon the weather and instructor availability. Please contact Brandon Lawler to schedule via text 317-340-4010 or blawler48@gmail.com. Derek is not available for private lessons so he can conduct lessons we've donated to local nonprofit organizations. And, so he can spend time on the boat with his family!

About Us
Indy Ski School on Geist opened in 2003, after Derek Dechert wanted to give kids a place to learn waterski, just like he did when he was a kid. Since then, Indy Ski School has taught thousands of kids from Indiana and beyond, to waterski, wakesurf, knee board, and wakeboard. More importantly to have fun and grow up loving 'the lake life'.
